Kye Martin is currently the afternoon Traffic anchor on CLTV News.
She joined CLTV in July of 2008. Every afternoon, from 2-6 p.m., she provides live updates during the evening commute on CLTV, and online.
She is the kind of driver who will devise wildly convoluted routes to avoid sitting in a traffic jam, only to get to her destination at the exact same time she would have had she stayed on the expressway.
Prior to coming to Chicagoland, Kye spent 2 years as a general assignment reporter at KTXL-TV in Sacramento, CA. Prior to that, Kye spent several years as a morning news anchor and general assignment reporter at KMPH-TV in Fresno, CA. Her very first gig in broadcasting was as a reporter at an all-news radio station in Fresno, KMPH-FM.
Kye received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Washington State University in Pullman, WA. A Seattle native, Kye is happy to say that her wimpy west coast blood is slowly congealing with each month she spends in Chicago.
