In partnership with WGN-TV, CLTV features expanded coverage of Chicagoland regional news that is not available anywhere else. The Chicago Breaking News Center allows CLTV to give viewers the latest information, as it happens.
CLTV launched on January 1, 1993 and moved to shared facilities at WGN-TV in Chicago in August 2009. The 24-hour cable news channel is the recipient of numerous regional Emmy, National Press, Associated Press and other awards.
Our specialty local programming has consistently been awarded for excellence.
CLTV is available on Comcast Digital Cable and RCN systems throughout the Chicago area.
