John McLean was a Chef for the famous Levy group for years and did a fantastic job.
Then, he retired... briefly. Bored out of his mind, he decided to enter the world of gourmet burgers. We are all glad he did!
Burger Bar is just that... a bar with a tremendous beer selection combined with some of the most kick-ass burgers in the city.
His theory is simple; make a perfect half-pound patty and start to stack it with all kinds of goodness. We tried the En Fuego, Belly Up and an incredibly gluttonous Southwest Stacker which includes several ounces of brisket on top of the burger with fried pickles!! Wow!!
The fries are killer, the aiolis are divine and the shakes are sinful... What else can I say?
