Chicago's Best Fried @ Dell Rhea's Chicken Basket

I took my mom there for lunch last Sat (aug 27th). I must admit I wasnt impressed at all. I know so many have raved about the chicken as well as the wings. We both decided on two different type of wings. The Vesuvio n Buffalo. We were told that in order to get the salad n soup bar at half price we needed to order 12 of each wings. The soup was amazing, the salad bar was lacking to say the least. A few items were missing, the potato salad was under cooked, the cole slaw tasted store bought, not enough choices of dressings..its a salad bar gone wrong. I was shocked that they even charged 4.95 to add it to a meal much less 9.95 just for it alone. The wings were average. I love watching the show. I enjoying trying new places however this will not be a return. The lunch for over 40.00 for 24 wings, 2 sodas n soup/salad bar. That is just crazy in my opinion. I would suggest going to Hooters over this place anyday!!
