Heavy Hitting for a Healthier Body

Lately I've been hitting it hard....no; really, I've been hitting the heavy bag with a lot of power! Since I've been introduced to the Fusion Heavy Hitting class my cross punch has been jarring and my round house kicks killer!

As many of you already know, I love to box and I love cardio kick boxing so with this new workout my two favs are combined in a one-hour class. We perform MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) striking on the heavy bag and Muay Thai Pads. With the addition of kettle bell training and plyometric drills, we are doing a total body, calorie burning, muscle toning workout.
 

With this new workout routine there is no sparring which means you do all the hitting and you never get hit!  So it's safe and great for all workout levels. The class is taught by Josh Rogers a fitness professional with real MMA fight experience.

This type of class is held at several MMA gyms in the Chicagoland area but I go to MMA Masters Chicago located at 1611 N Sheffield, 3rd floor in Chicago. It's a total blast, not to mention when you are finished you're literally drenched with sweat, you feel exhilarated and any stress you walked in with...it's gone!!
