The lake and adjacent land was donated to the city of Orlando in the late 1880s and has become a centerpiece of the city with its fountain and paddle boats. The original fountain was installed in 1912 at a cost of $10,000 and was replaced in 1957. The lake is home to a variety of swans.  Show more »
